Berwyn H. “Bert” Balterman, 83, WW II vet, died Wednesday, January 3, 2001, after a long illness, beloved husband of the late Sydelle, nee Green; devoted father of Ellen Miller and Ralph Miller; devoted brother of Dexter (Alice) Balterman and Lee Balterman; fond uncle. Funeral service Friday, 1:30 p.m. at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church Street), Skokie. Interment Westlawn.
