Jack Chandler Berger, M.D., 77, beloved husband of Virginia “Dinny” Butts. A distinguished physician, surgeon and phychiatrist. Once holding faculty positions at Rush Medical School, The University of Illinois and Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University teaching anatomy, plastic surgery and later psychiatry. Also served in the Navy & the U.S. Marines under Chesty Puller in the Korean War. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 1035 North Dearborn St., Chicago.
