Bruce A. Minier, 59, of Sleepy Hollow, a lawyer there in private practice for 25 years, died Monday, Jan. 1, in Rosewood Care Center, Elgin. Mr. Minier received a bachelor’s degree at Purdue University and a bachelor of law degree at Northwestern University Law School. “He took a great interest in seeing that his children played sports,” said his mother, Ramona Minier. “He was active in the community as a volunteer with several service clubs.” Other survivors include two sons, Bryan and Bradford; a daughter, Stephani; and a brother, John Jr. A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday in Christ the Lord Lutheran Church, 12N462 Tina Trail, Elgin.
