Elinor Krop, age 87, Saturday, January 6, 2001, at Lemont Center, Lemont, late of Lockport, formerly Downers Grove, dear aunt of Shirley (Marty) Fitzgerald; fond great to Daniel (Patti) Mull, Rob (Cindy) Fitzgerald and Todd Fitzgerald. Born in Chicago, Miss Krop retired from Eastman Kodak after 40 years of service. Member of the 1st Church of Christian Science, in charge of the reading room for three years, member of the Travel Club at Elmhurst College, and travel extensively. Daughter of the later William and Theresa, nee Miller Krop; and fond sister of the late Marguerite Rempert. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Roads, New Lenox, Wednesday, 10 a.m. until time of services, 12 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Eldon Appling officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Oak Lawn. Info: 815-485-3200.
