Comdisco cuts: Comdisco said today it will stop providing managed network services to increase its focus on its other technology services, including its core continuity business and its high-potential Web hosting and data storage services. The decision was necessary because the networking business wasn’t growing as projected and no longer fit Comdisco’s technology services strategy. Comdisco provided its networking services to 37 of the company’s 5,300 customers. Ninety-six jobs will be eliminated. Comdisco employs 3,200 people worldwide.
