Mary E. “Betty” Madigan, nee Meier, 76, of Lake Barrington Shores, beloved wife of the late John P.; mother of Terry (Mike) Jones, Tom Madigan, Peggy Madigan, Jeanne (Jim) Ryan, John (Carey) Madigan, Katie (Ray) Thompson and Molly (Gerald) Garcia; grandmother of Pat, Nikki, Teagan, Rebecca, Caroline and Clara; preceded in death by two brothers. She was born in Madison, WI on May 30, 1924, and died in Lake Barrington Shores, IL on Jan. 9, 2001. She was a member of the St. Francis Quilters Group and was one of the starting members of the L.B.S. Newcomers Club. Visitation at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 415 S.
