Morris Saxner, age 86, beloved husband of Dorothy; loving father of Howard (Laura); fond stepfather of Roberta (Henry) Scheff and Amy (Allen) Oseroff; adoring grandfather of David, Julie, Jack, Andy, Danny and Tommy; dear brother of Phil (Minette) and Ruby (Evelyn) Saxner; preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah, his daughter, Deanna and his brother, Aaron (Irene). A retired attorney, he practiced solo for 32 years. Served as Assistant Attorney General of Illinois for 10 years and was of counsel to the firm of Rudnick and Wolfe for 6 years. Services Thursday, January 11, 2001, 10 a.m. at The Piser Chapel, 5206 N. Broadway. Interment Westlawn Cemetery.
