It will be hard to forget the image of Linda Chavez when forced to withdraw her nomination for secretary of labor, blaming Capital Hill’s “game of search and destroy.” Over the years Linda Chavez wrote thousands of words attacking Bill Clinton and Al Gore for their lack of honesty, integrity and responsibility. So when she had her opportunity to demonstrate her commitment to these same qualities, she failed and revealed herself to be just another sanctimonious hypocrite.
That is why that old expression “a picture is worth a thousand words” is so true.
