Learning Network has launched a new homework-help Web site aimed at children 9-14 years old called FactMonster.com.
The site, www.factmonster.com, offers a combination of reference materials and fun.
The Homework Center section gives tips and guidance, plus students can submit questions for individual assistance.
Meanwhile, a section called Cool Stuff has an eclectic collection of movie, music and TV history; fashion, pet and holiday information; and a section on fads and inventions.
There are also links featuring information on foreign countries, the United States, biographies, writing tips, science, math and more.
