Lucille Kirkpatrick, nee Snow, 87, of Lake Forest, CA, formerly of Libertyville and Glenview, died suddenly December 8 at the Irvine Regional Hospital and Medical Center, Irving, CA. She was born December 17, 1912 in Chicago, moved to Libertyville at the age of two with her family, and was a 1931 graduate of Libertyville Township High School. Following her 1946 marriage to Kenneth Kirkpatrick, she resided in Glenview before moving to the West Coast. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was the founder in 1956 of the Glenkirk School for the developmentally challenged. The organization, known today as Glenkirk serves over 1,100 individuals in 48 locations. Surviving is her son Kenneth Kirkpatrick of Laguna Niguel, CA; three nephews, Paul (Judy) Snow of Lake Forest, John (Margaret) Snow of Libertyville and Thomas (Mary) Snow of Tampa; preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Kirkpatrick; her brother John G, Snow and her parents Kathryn and Percy Snow.
