When I was young my mother always used to tell me, “What goes around comes around.” And so it is with Jesse Jackson.

Being an African-American male, I have not been able to figure out why we as a people seem to blindly want to follow Jesse Jackson. He trivializes our struggles and pain with his boy-crying-wolf routine, and spits on the very graves of the great men and women of this country who have bled and died for true equality and freedom for all people.

Every day I have to suffer the repercussions of his actions because, unfortunately, he “represents” or “leads” the black community. Who voted for this idiot? I certainly did not. And although he has done some good, and America still is under-represented by its minority populace, he has used this inequity mostly for personal gain.

Now this “moral and spiritual leader” does it to us again with his newest act of self-promotion, all at the cost of our collective integrity.

How do we rid ourselves of this menace? Well I, for one, pledge from this day forward whenever possible to speak out against him and his garbage.
