David Albert Fernquist, 35, of Rolling Meadows was a service technician for computerized equipment since 1991. Mr. Fernquist, a Chicago native, died Friday, Jan. 26, in Chicago. Mr. Fernquist attended Harper College in Palatine in the late 1990s. “He was my baby brother,” said his sister Donna Griesser. “I was very proud of him. He was one of the smartest men I ever knew. He had a beautiful wife and a beautiful son. I will miss him.” Other survivors include his wife, Rachel Diane; a son, David Gregory; his parents, Albert and Yvonne; five more sisters, Candy Lelivelt, Nancy Lindstrand, Karen, Alyse and Jeri; and his grandmother, Ada. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday in Congregational United Church of Christ, 1001 W. Kirchoff Rd., Arlington Heights.
