August “Gus” Homann, died in his home Feb. 8, 2001, WWII Veteran. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Irene. Survivors include his very close friend, Lorraine Stettler; godchild, Cheryl (Jim) Cosgrove; stepchildren, Marilyn King, Janet Bellis and George Schenekl; and several grandchildren. He had been a square dancer for over 50 years and was a member of the Square Spares Square Dance Club and had many dance friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. at Acacia Park Lutheran Church, 4307 N. Oriole, Norridge. Interment private.
