Rosaria Cilia of Mt. Prospect, a homemaker, died Sunday, Feb. 11, in Lee Manor Health Care Residence, Des Plaines. “My mother-in-law and father-in-law [the late Carmelo] came here from Sicily in 1929,” said her son-in-law, Don Latham. “They were very hardworking people. They were Roman Catholic, very dedicated to religion. They wanted their daughter to have a good education.” Other survivors include a daughter, Jennie Latham; and five grandchildren. Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect, followed by a mass to be said at 10 a.m. in St. Zachary Catholic Church, 567 W. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines.
