James M. Jones, 55, of Aurora, died Wednesday, March 28, in his home. Born in Aurora, Mr. Jones was a 1964 graduate of West Aurora. An Army veteran from 1968 to 1970, he served in the Korea DMZ, earning the rank of sergeant. He was employed most recently at Chek-Lab, Inc. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Friday in The Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by 10 a.m. mass in Holy Angels Church, 720 Hardin, Aurora.
