I was born with astigmatism, a misshaping of the cornea, which has impaired my vision since birth. Until now I have thought that I had merely a vision problem, requiring me to wear contact lenses. But now, in light of the Casey Martin decision, I realize that I suffer from a disability, unfairly depriving me of my constitutional right to hit major-league pitching, and play for the White Sox.
I plan to file suit. Naturally, I will demand the right to hit the baseball off a tee.
