Edward R. Sandstrom Jr., 77, of Arlington, TX, formerly of Dolton, IL, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2001, beloved husband of 54 years to Margaret “Marge”, nee Zimmermann, Sandstrom; loving father of Edward Sandstrom III of Arlington, TX, Charles Sandstrom of Marsailles, IL and Philip Sandstrom of Wichita, KS; sisters, Elaine Calpeno of Lakewood, CO and June Balje of Knox, IN; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; three nephews and one niece. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 10, 2001 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with Services on Monday, June 11, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. from Cedar Park Funeral Home Chapel, 12540 South Halsted, Calumet Park, IL 60827, 708-388-8605 . Mr. Sandstrom was a member of Peoples Gas American Legion Post #336 and a Veteran of WWII.
