Well, it seems as if the Bears have botched another football hiring. The long, drawn-out, archaic way of interviewing GM candidates has bogged down the front-runner for the job, Tom Modrak. It figures. He is the second candidate to withdraw his name from consideration.
Someone must have told Modrak to watch closely how the Bears operate. Is it any wonder he bailed out to escape the circus atmosphere surrounding Halas Hall? Pity the soul who accepts the GM position.
