In “Teachers voted to regain respect,” the June 6 commentary by new Chicago Teachers Union President Deborah Lynch-Walsh, it was interesting that the words “teacher accountability” and “pay for performance” did not appear anywhere. Ms. Walsh’s wish list benefited the teachers, not the students they are hired to help.
