Anderson, nee Jacobson, age 95, of McHenry and formerly of Chicago, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2001, member of Women of the Moose, Chapter 427 of Portage Park for 62 years, Order of the Eastern Star of the Jephthah Chapter and Shephard’s Shrine Chapter 49 of Berwyn, dear grandmother of seven; great-grandmother of 19; great-greatgrandmother of 21; loving sister of Paul (Eleanor) Jacobson of Galena, IL; preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Senie, nee Monson, Jacobson; her husband, Melville Anderson Sr.; her son, Melville Anderson Jr.; a sister and five brothers. Resting at the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, 3519 W. Elm St., McHenry. Visitation 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, and noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at the funeral home.
