James Michael Tobey, age 54, of Galveston, TX, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2001, beloved father of Jannine (Mike) Tvinnereim and James T. Tobey; dear brother of Steven and Bruce (Linda); loving son of Grace (the late Frank) Tobey; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 5 at5 p.m. at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Skyline Memorial Park in Monee. Mr. Tobey had been an employee of IBM for over 25 years.
