I found Steve Rosenbloom’s article “Your table is ready” (July 29) to be fascinating and enjoyable. However, I believe he left someone out who certainly should be at least in the 11-20 listing–Randy Walker.
I am not even a Northwestern football fan, but what NU did last year, bringing back the excitement of being the only winning football team in Chicago, coupled with being picked to win the Big Ten this fall, should bring Walker some recognition. In fact, I would invite him to sit at my table before Ted Phillips, Jerry Krause, Bob Pulford or Kevin White. Plus I trust him more than any of the political individuals he mentioned.
Anyone could learn from Randy Walker, who has proved that he’s a winner. Revise your list and include Randy Walker–he has clout.
