Marian Hagarty, 86, of Elgin, formerly of Chicago, passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2001, loving daughter of the late William and Beatrice, nee Noone, Cassell; beloved wife of the late Wilfred Hagarty (1964); fond mother to Kathleen (John) Vogel of Bartlett, IL; grandmother to Michael and Matthew Vogel; aunt to Joan (John) Bates, Patricia (James) McCarthy and Walter (Eleanor) Williams. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001 with prayers at 9:45 a.m. in the Laird Funeral HOme, 310 S. State St. (Rt. 31), Elgin, 847-741-8800 , to St. Laurence Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL. Visitation was held Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Masses would be appreciated.
