A country with open borders is a country that allows anyone to come in and go out freely at any time. If this is what is meant by “open borders”–a country that for all practical purposes has no border at all–do we not open up a can of worms?
The citizens in each country should keep this foremost in their minds every time we hear talk of open borders. A country without borders would be like a house without walls. One could call it a house, but would it really be one? How safe would we feel living in a house without walls?
