For 56 years I have been a rabid Cubs fan. I have taken a ribbing from my Sox-fan friends, but I kept rooting for the Cubs. Then some friends asked me to pray for some very sick people, and I had to stop and think why I continue this heartache with the Cubs.
I can finally stop getting stressed out over this team that can’t hit its weight, is too picky about pitches and is generally inept.
