Ralph G. Anderson, 75, of Hurst formerly of Marion and Chicago, died at 9:15 a.m., Friday, September 7, 2001 at his home. Mr. Anderson was born on July 9, 1926 in Chicago, IL to Hans and Helga (Baltzerson) Anderson. He married Mary L. McNichols on October 29, 1947 in Chicago. She preceded him in death on December 25, 1999. At the families request a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
