Louis B. Kraus, age 97, wonderful father of Esther (Archie) Lieberman, Arthur (Renee) Kraus and June (Paul) Finfer; grandfather of Eric (Mary Kay) Lieberman, Robert Lieberman, Kurt Lieberman, Larry Kraus, Bonnie (Scott) Litch and Ilyse (Tim) Degen; great-grandfather of eight; great-great-grandfather of two; loving husband of the late Beatrice, nee Erlich, the mother of his children, and to Ruth, nee Lambert, and Minnie, nee Richman; dear friend of Rose Feldman, Frank Kaminsky and Marsha Engquist. Two months after his mother, Bessie, nee Miseles, and father, Manuel Kraus, emigrated from Roumania in 1903, he was born in St. Louis, MO, later moving with his family to Chicago. He was a currency exchange owner and accountant, retiring from his client of 52 years, Lake Shore Schools, only this summer.
