Jeff T. Oblander, 41, of Indianapolis, died Aug. 7, 2001 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, following an automobile accident. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he was a chef and a member of the American Culinary Federation. In addition to his parents, Joe M. and Phyllis H. Oblander of Atlanta, GA, he is survived by his wife, Melinda Oblander of Indianapolis; two children, Jessica and Steven Oblander; two sisters, Lisa Cinelli of Highland Park, IL and Linda Fryer of Park City, UT; and a brother, Scott Oblander of Chicago. Services were held in Indianapolis on Aug. 11.
