Esther Klowden, nee Siegel, 82, of Evanston, died Saturday, September 22. Devoted and cherished wife of the late LeRoy; loving and guiding mother of Dr. Arthur (Judy), Michael (Pat) and Joyce (Paul) Porter; beloved and adored grandmother of Ellen, Mindy, Kevin (Tanya) and Deborah Klowden and David Porter; proud great-grandmother of Noah Klowden; dear sister of the late Eva (the late Emerick) Iser, Lillian (the late Harry) Yarmat and Ben (Lib) Segal; warm sister-in-law of Evelyn (the late Jack), Ruth (the late Sam) and the late Jules (the late Evelyn) Klowden and Ann (the late Al) Gottlieb; treasured aunt of many loving nieces and nephews. Her love, warmth and generosity will live on through her family and cherished friends.
