Clarke E. “Gene” Tellison, 72, of Aurora died Sunday, Sept. 23, in Provena Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora. Mr. Tellison was a lifelong resident of Aurora and a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a master’s degree in business. Mr. Tellison was an accountant for the Pines and Caterpillar Corporations. After he retired, he worked maintenance at Waubonsee Community College and the Batavia school district. Survivors include his wife, Esther; a daughter, Sonja Tellison-Foster; and a brother, Glenn. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the mortuary.
