Give thanks

In the midst of all this catastrophe, we should find time to give thanks.

Thanks to the valiant firefighters, police officers and emergency rescue workers. Next time we get a ticket, remember the one giving it to you is willing to give his life to save yours.

Thanks to the president who has risen to new heights by his sincerity, his compassion and his determination.

Thanks to the TV stations, cable and national, who gave one week of coverage without any commercials. This was at a great cost to them and it was much appreciated.
