Albert L. Plowman, age 76, late of Midlothian 51 years, beloved husband of Verna, nee Peterson; loving father of Delma Rutherford, Julie (Scott) Fencl, Gerald (Patricia), Daniel (Linda), Timothy (Cindy) and Alan (Pamela) Plowman; dear grandfather of 13 and greatgrandfather of one; preceded in death by his parents, Eldridge McKinley Plowman and Bessie Lee Kurtz; and a sister, Shirley Lang. U.S. Army Veteran WWII and a distinguished recipient of the Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. Life member and past Commander of Midlothian V.F.W. Post #2580. Former owner and operator of Camera and Equipment Service Company, Chicago. While semi-retired, also a cameraman for Midlothian Messenger News. An avid fisherman, hunter and lifelong member of the N.R.A. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Red Cross would be appreciated. Funeral Service Friday 2 p.m. at Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst.
