In “Will other voices be heard?” (Tempo, Oct. 1), Daniel Berrigan, a longtime advocate of non-violence and civil disobedience, seems to hope “that we will have a national change of heart from vengeance to compassion.”
Compassion for whom? The terrorists? Has the whole world gone mad?
