Ronald E. Miller, 66, of Hanover Park, beloved husband of Frances, nee Martini; loving father of Diane, nee Miller, Buelow; and father-in-law of John Buelow; grandfather of A.J. and J.J. Worjnarowski, Melissa and Catilyn Miller; dear son of the late Roy and Cecil Miller; son-in-law of Diana and the late Joseph Martini; brother-in-law of Gloria Miller, David and Susan Charneco; uncle of the late Carmen Charneco. He was also preceded in death by his loving German Shepherd Fritzie. Ronald was a former Berwyn Police Officer for 20 years, a manager at American General Finance for 18 years, a finance manager at Joe Lesniak Colonial Chevrolet for eight years and a Cook County Sheriff for 23 years. He was a member of the Tri Village RC Club in Schaumburg. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his boat. He also loved flying and had his pilots license. Visitation will be at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 485 S. Bartlett Road, Streamwood Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday 9:15 a.m. to St. Ansgar Catholic Church, Hanover Park, Mass 10 a.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Forest Park.
