As a true baseball fan growing up in the Midwest, I have purchased tickets to give to charity and/or personally attended about 400 professional games in my lifetime. Ninety-five percent have been for the Minnesota Twins and the Chicago Cubs.
If baseball owners go through with their plan to eliminate one of my two favorite teams for the last 35 years, I will never purchase another ticket or attend another major-league game. I hope other true baseball fans will recognize the selfishness and stupidity of baseball owners and join me in this permanent boycott.
