Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

No matter which team you wanted to win, the recent seven-game World Series was the best we’ve seen in a long time. The television network covering the event, Fox Sports, did a decent job with each game and was greatly blessed with a caliber of play that made for an increased national audience.

However, the “virtual manager poll” at the bottom of the screen was as disturbing as poor camera work. Did Fox think America was going to revolt against a team’s manager if his decision was not the popular vote in the poll? Who cares what the poll results were?

This was the World Series. Somebody tried to be cute when they should have had class. I have faith that this will not be a trend of the future.
