Paul Dittrich, a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, dearly beloved husband of Betty, nee Shapielak, and longtime Stickney resident, died Friday, Oct. 19, at the age of 79, and received Christian burial on Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, in the Garden Mausoleum of Mount Auburn Cemetery. Services were arranged by the Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
