We can’t predict whether the Bears will be in New Orleans for the Super Bowl. But we know that Zinfandel chef Susan Goss will be there, along with former Bears running back Ron Bull, for Taste of the NFL on Feb. 2. The charity event teams chefs and NFL alumni from around the country for a gourmet buffet. (Tickets are $400; let’s hope it includes Champagne.) Goss will serve Zinfandel pot roast with mashed potatoes and Pennsylvania Dutch black vinegar sauce. All proceeds benefit charity; most of the funds will go to Second Harvest, the national hunger-relief agency, and its affiliates, which include The Greater Chicago Food Depository.
