Richard H. “Dick” Breaker, 71, of Sun City, Huntley, formerly of Elmhurst at rest January 30, 2002, beloved husband of Geraldine C. “Jerrie”, nee Post; cherished father of Stephen, Debra (Brian) Behles and Michael (Diane); proud grandfather of Tierney and Quinlan Behles; fond brother of John and the late Stanley, Matthew, Sophie Mueller and Patricia Getts. Mr. Breaker was a graduate of Lane Tech High School, The Engineering School Of The University Of Illinois and his master’s degree in Business Administration from The University Of Chicago. He was a Registered Professional Engineer, first with Sunbeam Corporation of Oak Brook, then Kroeschell Engineering and finally the distinguished Chicago Club. He was also an Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday February 9, at The Drendel Hall in Sun City, Huntley.
