Bennett F. Roglin, 71, a retired repairman for Nafisco Inc. in Hillside, died of heart failure Wednesday, Jan. 30, in Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Mr. Roglin was born in Chicago and graduated from St. Rita High School. In 1955, he began working as a repairman at Nafisco, which repairs traffic control systems, and spent 40 years there. Mr. Roglin married in 1957 and moved to Des Plaines in 1958. He retired in 1995. “He was always witty and just a nice guy to be around,” said his wife of 44 years, Deena. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines. A mass will be said at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Zachary Catholic Church, 567 W. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines.
