I respect Morrissey’s opinion but question his conclusion. If a sports section can provide endless copy on the foibles of Eugene Robinson, Mike Tyson, etc.–“fallen idols”–why not give equal time to the thoughts of football’s current MVP?
Morrissey’s closing remarks offered his personal read on Christianity but failed to recognize a basic Christian directive to “go forth and spread the word,” which is only what Kurt Warner is doing.
