Genevieve Paulis, age 83, of Three Lakes, WI, died Thursday February 21, 2002 at the Our Home “K” Care Nursing Home in Minocqua, WI. She was born on September 8, 1918 to Eli and Hulda Lepisto in Mass, MI. She worked as a dental assistant for 40 years with her husband, Dr. Peter Paulis, DDS, in Roseland, IL and Glenwood, IL. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and crocheting. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Genevieve is survived by her daughter, Charmaine (Joseph) Petreikis of Three Lakes, WI; her son, Keith (Kathy) Carlson of Crete, IL; and two granchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday February 25, 2002 at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home at 5 p.m. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of service. A committal service will be held on Wednesday February 27, 2002 at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago, IL (4401 W. 111th St.) at 1 p.m. Memorials to the Our Home “K” Care Nursing Home are appreciated by the family.
