Efrain Diaz, 30, of the 1900 block of Green Lane, Palatine, was charged Monday with domestic battery after he allegedly punched a female family member in the face in their home. The victim declined medical attention, police said. Diaz posted $500 bail and was ordered to appear in court March 27, police said.
