Your politically correct headline calling Danny Pearl’s barbaric, brutal murder an execution is the most stupid one I’ve seen in a long time (“American journalist executed; Officials get tape of Pearl’s death,” Page 1, Feb. 22). “Execution” has an aura of authority about it. Pearl was destroyed by despicable people who should be made to suffer the same fate that they dealt him.
