If the Statue of Liberty was destroyed on Sept. 11, would we not rebuild it exactly as it was?
If so, then the same must be done with the World Trade Center. If the trade center was so important that the terrorists had to take it down, it would be a great symbol of American resolve if it was rebuilt exactly as it was.
Maybe make the twin towers just a little bit taller, just enough to reclaim the title of tallest building in the world. I believe that would really get to Osama bin Laden.
