John E. Beier, 84, of Dixon, formerly of Chicago, died Friday, March 8, 2002, at his home. He had worked for and was President of Beier and Company prior to his retirement in 1962. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. March 12, 2002, at the Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
