Edith Linnea Johnson Rickson was born October 16, 1905 and passed away April 2, 2002 in Sacramento, California. She was married in 1928 to Ruben R. Rickson and moved to Elmhurst in 1936. Her husband preceded her in death in 1976. She is survived by her children Shirley Jackson and David Rickson; grandchildren: David P. Rickson, M.D., Regan Rickson, Beth Rickson, Ericka McCoog, Marta Schlemmer and Andrew Austin; she also has six beautiful great grandchildren. Among her many activities was Charter #699 Order of the Eastern Star where she was Worthy Matron. In 1956 she become a grand officer OES State of Illinois. While living in Elmhurst, she was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. She traveled to many parts of the world with her husband. Since 1978 she lived in Sacramento, California where she enjoyed her grandchildren, fishing, camping, painting and playing bridge. Services at the Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S.
