Alexander Hoffmann, age 80, of Collins Lane, Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Alexander Hoffmann and Clara Pataky Hoffmann was born April 3, 1922 in Budapest, Hungary. He died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2002, in Campbellsville, KY. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a retired surveyor who worked in Illinois and Kentucky. He lived the last 22 years of his life in Campbellsville. He operated a black walnut tree farm, which he planted himself. He is survived by one daughter, Gabriela Zimmermann of Zurich, Switzerland; one brother and one sister, Laszlo Hoffmann and his wife, Beatrix of Washington D.C. and Clara Hoffmann of Austria; two nieces, Alexandra Hoffmann of Nashville, Tennessee and Sophia Gutsman of St. Gallen, Switzerland and several other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place on Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church with burial in the Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Cemetery at Finley, Kentucky.
