SOUTH LAKE SHORE DRIVE

The Drive will be closed southbound from Hayes (6300 South) to Marquette Drive (6600 South) for reconstruction of the Animal Bridge. Traffic will detour west onto Hayes Drive, south onto Richards Drive and east onto Marquette. Other projects for 2002 include: The 31st Street Bridge will be reconstructed. The Oakwood Boulevard Bridge will be refurbished. The 55th Street pedestrian underpass will be rebuilt. Jeffery Drive will be rebuilt between Marquette Drive and 67th Street.
