Bernice Tully, nee Dowd, beloved wife of the late Martin A. Tully, her trusted friend and husband for nearly 40 years. Born in Glinsk County Galway, Ireland, as the daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen Dowd; sister of the late Michael, Patrick (Della), Kathleen Hynes (William), Ellen Dunne (Peter) and Thomas (Mary) of Ireland; survived by her sister Mary Ann Leech (the late Jack) of London, England. Bernice “Sis” was the very special aunt of nieces and nephews, too many to list. She asked she be remembered as she was loved in life, as the woman upon whom you could rely for love and a laugh no matter where and no matter when. She was a member of Illinois Telephone Pioneers, Member of St. Cajetan’s Women’s Club, and Charter member of the Life Is What You Make It Club.
